Proprietor NNEB & First Aid My name is Charlotte, I own Beechoak Farm jointly with my father Steve. We opened our doors in October 1996 and have seen many changes over the last 24 years, growing from a 32 place pre-school to now a 72 place pre-school. Hayley runs Beechoak Farm: we work well as a team and I couldn’t be without her, not forgetting the 30 fantastic members of staff that all, bring something individual and unique to the nursery. |

Hayley Manager BA in Early Years Education & Early Years Teacher Status My name is Hayley and I have been running Beechoak Farm since 2007. I qualified with a BTEC National Diploma in 1999, gained the level 4 Certificate in Early Years Practice in 2010, graduated in September 2012 with the Foundation Degree in Early Years through the Open University and complete both my Early Years Teacher Status and BA in Early Years Education in 2014. I have a current pediatric & youth first aid certificate. My background and passion is in Early Years and Special Needs Education and before coming to Beechoak Farm I worked as a Special Needs Advisor for Essex County Council. It is a pleasure coming to Beechoak Farm each day and working with a great team of colleagues, children and parents. A truly magical place to be! |

Juliana Cook / House Keeper City and Guilds hotel and Catering My name is Juliana and I started working at Beechoak Farm in November 1999 and I am the cook / house keeper. My career started in 1978 when I went to North West College; I completed a two year course passing my City and Guilds in Hotel and Catering (1980) and have never looked back. Cooking is more of a passion than a job and here at Beechoak Farm I have been given full control of the menus and shopping. I have taken on new challenges, like cooking with the children and it has been a great success. |
Pauline Assistant Housekeeper My name is Pauline, for the past 19 years i have delivered a range of historical, science and nature workshops to primary school ages children. Due to the Covid situation, i was made redundant, but now i enjoy working with Julie at Beechoak and being part of a professional team. |

Room Leader – Rabbits Room NVQ Level 3 My name is Lauren, I started working at Beechoak Farm in January 2019. I am the room leader of the Rabbits. I have over 11 years’ experience of working with children and hold both NVQ level 2 and 3 in childcare. I also have a current 12-hour paediatric 1st aid. I have experience of being a room leader at the previous nursery I worked at. Over the ten years of working in child care I have worked with all age groups of under 5’s. I am really enjoying working at Beechoak and I am looking forward to helping the children to progress and grow further within their learning and development. |

I was an apprentice studying my Level 3, floating around the Pre School, and now I work with Lauren in the Rabbits Room. I am enjoying working at Beechoak and starting my career in childcare. I would like to make the children as happy as I was when I spent my early years here at Beechoak Farm a child. |

Room Leader - Squirrels Room NVQ level 3 My name is Alice, I started working at Beechoak Farm in March 2018 as an Apprentice in the Rabbits Room. I then qualified as a Level 3 and now I work alongside Maria the Squirrels room. I really enjoy working with the children and watching them develop and grow. |
Maria Nursery Nurse-Squirrels room Hello, my Name is Maria, and i am currently the nursery assistant in the squirrels.I joined Beechoak in 2010 supporting a child with additional needs and continued to work as nursery assistant until 2015, when i had a short break to work as a school librarian. I returned to Beechoak to work alongside Julie our lovely cook and then once again found my self back in the classroom with the children- which i love. I have over 20 years experience working with children of all ages. I have attended many courses and particular like art, literacy, mindfulness and child psychology. I believe Beechoak Farm to be the perfect environment for a child to develop and grow. |

Room Leader – Hedgehogs Room NVQ Level 3 My name is Maria, I started working at Beechoak Farm in August 2014, and I worked as a nursery nurse for over a year and then was promoted as room leader in the Hedgehogs class. As room leader I have mentored a few members of staff, helping them on their journey to become a qualified nursery nurse. I also enjoy running a music and movement class which consists of some fun salsa moves and a yoga class with the children. This will help develop the children’s creativity, gross motor skills and understanding the timing in the music. I have also been joined by Chloe, who will be supporting and working with me to ensure all of our children develop and flourish. |
Chloe Apprentice Nursery Nurse – Hedgehogs room My name is Chloe. I started work here in October 2019 and am looking forward to finishing my NVQ 2 shortly. I am in the Hedgehogs class supporting Maria who has already taught me so much. Getting to know the children has been great and I look forward to my future here and getting to know everyone better. |

Senior Nursery Nurse Equality Named Coordinator Room Leader – Otters Room NVQ Level 3 My name is Chanelle I started at Beechoak Farm in April 2018. I have 11 years of experience working with children aged from 3 months to 5 years, I have worked in all rooms which I can adapt to work with all of the ages. I started in childcare with an NVQ Level 2 as a nursery nurse in 2007 and worked towards my level 3 and worked my way to room leader and 3rd in charge. I have a cache level 3, Paediatric 1st aid, 1st aid at work, fire marshal training and designated safeguarding training. I look forward to meeting new children and being able to help them grow as an individual and being able to meet their needs. |
Paige Apprentice nursery nurse – Otters Room My name is Paige. I started working at Beechoak Farm at the end of 2019. I am currently working in the Otters class alongside Chanelle, whom I enjoy working with. I am currently doing my NVQ level 3 and hope to complete it early near year. I love helping the children learn and form friendships through play activities. |
Hannah Senior Nursery Nurse Room Leader – Swans Room Diploma In Childcare & Education Level 3 NVQ Level 3 Business Management SENCo My name is Hannah and I started working at Beechoak Farm in December 2007 as a classroom assistant. During my time at Beechoak Farm I have worked my way up to being promoted to a room leader in March 2008 and then a Senior Nursery Nurse in May 2015. I am the SENCo for the nursery, part of this role is to oversee and support my colleagues with any children for whom they are concerned about or any children joining the nursery already diagnosed with an additional need. I absolutely love this aspect of my role. |
JoJo Room Leader – Swans Room NVQ Level 3 EAL Coordinator My name is Joanne, I am known as ‘JoJo’ and I started working at Beechoak Farm in October 2015. I am a fully qualified level 3 Nursery Nurse. I was based in the Rabbits until March 2018 when I accepted a promotion to room Leader of the Swans. Childcare is something that I have always been interested in and have enjoyed being involved with. I enjoy doing a range of different activities with the children especially messy play where we can have fun and laugh together. In December 2019 I took over the role of EAL coordinator, which means I will oversee and support children with English as an additional language across the nursery. |

Since starting here as a floater, I have now progressed to sharing the Deputy Managers role as well as room leader of the Badgers. I work 2 days a week and love being with the children they are all unique and so rewarding. I aim to make sure every one of them feels secure, happy and confident whilst developing new skills. |

Joint room leader of the Badgers Joint Deputy Manager Level 4 Montessori international diploma CACHE Level 3 NVQ Level 3 Business Management My name is Lisa-Jane and I am the Deputy Manager alongside Sam with whom I job share with. I have worked at Beechoak Farm since 2005 where I joined as a floater between the pre-school classes. I was promoted to room leader of the Hedgehogs and completed my Level 4 Montessori International Diploma. I then took on the role of Senior before leaving to have my eldest daughter. I returned on a part-time basis and continued my education in Business Management before becoming Deputy in 2015. I have since had a short break to have my second child, before taking over the running of the Badgers class. I believe Montessori opens many opportunities for the children and I find it very rewarding observing the children developing through this child centred education. |

Senior Nursery Nurse Room Leader – Owls Room Behaviour Management Advisor NVQ Level 3 My name is Jenny and I have been at Beechoak Farm since 2007. I started working in the Rabbits classroom as a classroom assistant which I really enjoyed; but when we opened the Pre-School Barn, I moved to the Owls classroom which is within the pre-school setting. I enjoy working with this age group as you can have interesting conversations with them. I have a level 3 in childcare and an up-to-date first aid certificate. I have also been on many ENCo courses ad have attended a Practical life Montessori Seminar. I open up the Pre school every day and love to spot the reindeers playing in our back field. |
Sofia Room Leader – Foxes Room Level 4 in Diploma of Childhood Education and Care My name is Sofia and I started working at Beechoak Farm in April 2018 as a Nursery Nurse. I am the room leader of the Foxes Class full time. I enjoy interacting with the children and watching them grow whilst learning through play. I am qualified in Level 4 childhood and hold an up to date first aid certificate. I find my job extremely rewarding and intend to continue building my experience and knowledge here at Beechoak Farm. |

I started at Beechoak Farm in May 2014 as room leader of Rabbits where I spent many happy years with the younger children, before transferring to the Pre-school. I love working in Pre-school now and helping out where I am needed. I love and still have a passion for caring and working with the children. |

I hold a level 3 qualification and previously worked at a local primary school as a cover supervisor for over twenty years. I recently married and have a two year old grandson. |

Georgie Bank Staff Nursery nurse NVQ Level 3 My Name is Georgie, i worked at Beechoak Farm in 2018 full time, then left to pursue a different career, which unfortunately didn't work out, so I'm happy to be back temping now and covering sick days/maternity cover. Bank Staff Nursery Nurse NVQ Level 4 My name is Tina and I started working at Beechoak Farm in September 2017 as a cover member of staff. I have worked in education for the last 23 years; as a teaching assistant for four years and then a nursery manager for the remainder. I have a level 4 NVQ and have numerous qualifications that assisted me with my managerial role. I cover throughout the school and enjoy working with all the different age groups. Beechoak Farm is such a lovely environment to work in and it is so nice to be hands on with the children, which I didn’t have the opportunity to do in my previous managerial role. |

I used to own my own Playgroup that was held at St. Michael’s Church, Loughton between 1996 and 2003, but had been working there since 1988. I hold a Foundation Certificate in Childcare. I love being involved in all the classes and I especially like helping out with all the art and creative activities that are going on. |
